<p>The Multimedia design team at Steadyimage.net were called upon to create a new look and feel for the 2012 Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival. The Art of Music Productions felt it was time to upgrade their brand in an attempt to express the new vibe of the event. In addition to new logos, Steadyimage created the festival&#8217;s new website <a href="http://www.JamaicaJazzAndBlues.com" title="JA Jazz and Blues" target="_blank">www.JamaicaJazzandBlues.com</a> along with all the promotional web videos, TV and radio adverts as well as Social Media Management service via our sister company, SocialBugz. </p>

<p>Celine Dion will make her Caribbean debut at the 16th annual Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival which will be held Jan. 26-28, 2012, at the Greenfield Multi Purpose Stadium, Trelawny, a 30 minute drive from Jamaica&#8217;s resort capital Montego Bay. Also on the lineup: hip hop-funkster (and vocal coach on NBC&#8217;s The Voice) Cee-Lo Green, The Temptations Revue (featuring Dennis Edwards) and acclaimed jazz guitarist Earl Klugh.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is the only show Celine is doing besides her Las Vegas gigs and it will be the most memorable event ever staged in Jamaica,&#8221; enthused Jamaica Jazz and Blues producer Walter Elmore, CEO of Art of Music Productions (AMP).<br />
Dion commenced her second Las Vegas residency, &#8220;Celine&#8221; at The Colosseum, Caesers Palace, Las Vegas, on March 15 and which will run through 2014.  Billboard&#8217;s Boxscore listings ranked &#8220;Celine&#8221; the number one show in North America with 54 consecutive sold out performances before 230,000 fans between March and August 2011.</p>
<p>Born in Charlemagne, Quebec, Dion, 43, is Canada&#8217;s all time best selling artist and the second best-selling female artist in the U.S. of the Nielsen SoundScan era. In 2004 she was honored with the Chopard Diamond Award at the World Music Awards in Monaco as the best-selling female artist of all time, based on sales figures from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI); according to Sony Music Entertainment, Dion has sold over 200 million albums worldwide. Her signature hit &#8220;Because You Loved Me&#8221; topped numerous international charts in 1996 including the Hot 100.</p>

<p>Kingston, Jamaica: In anticipation of the JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival, TurnKey Productions, organizers of the JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival has kicked off the road to 2012 by giving back to a lucky patron. The JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival through its Jamaica Jazz-Getaway campaign is offering complimentary season bands for all three concert nights as well as accommodation at a popular hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica to a lucky patron and two friends for the 2012 Festival. The package offered is valued over US$1,500.00 per person.</p>

<p>The Jamaica Jazz-Getaway campaign is currently underway on the Festival&#8217;s website, www.jamaicajazzandblues.com, as well as on social networking site facebook.com. The competition has been up and running for the last seven days and will end on Monday October 3. To enter, visitors go to www.jamaicajazzandblues.com, click the &#8220;Get in Touch&#8221; button on the page, they then enter their contact information and make &#8220;Jamaica Jazz Getaway&#8221; the subject of the message. To be eligible to compete, persons must be 18 years or older, go on facebook.com to the &#8216;Jamaica Jazz and Blues&#8217; page and &#8220;Like&#8221; it.</p>
<p>Patrons are only allowed one entry per person and the winner will be announced live on the Jazz and Blues website and subsequently on their facebook page soon. The winner will be chosen randomly and arrangements made. Airline tickets, airport transfer and ground transportation are not included in the package.</p>
<p>According to the JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival Team, hundreds of patrons register per day. <span style="color: #00ccff;"><em><strong>Adrian Allen, Creative Director of Steadyimage Interactive Media</strong></em>, said the anticipation for the event and the competition has been high. <em><strong>Allen also admits that the social networking site facebook.com was chosen as a medium for the competition to best reach the market. &#8220;Our goal is to increase the Jazz fan base on facebook so that they can enjoy first hand news on the Festival and other amenities. Plus we want the opportunity to get patrons involved and engaged in the days leading up to the Festival and facebook is a good medium for that,&#8221; he said.</strong></em></span></p>
<p>The JAMAICA Jazz and Blues Festival takes place at the Greenfield Stadium in Trelawny, January 22 &#8211; 28. The Festival has been exciting patrons for over 15 years, with stellar performances from Maroon 5, Air Supply and Natalie Cole, last year.</p>

<p>The Heart of Summer is a romantic love story about a young college student, Omari, who writes a book about an amazing summer experience after returning home from school in Atlanta. His life in college had transformed his identity from that of his family&#8217;s upbringing. After returning home, Omari visits his old family church with his family where he had a brief encounter with a very beautiful and attractive young lady named Naomi. Within days of meeting they both became inseparable and felt a natural bond that defied the norm of their very being, and one which they both never thought existed. But Naomi&#8217;s over-protective father would see to it that theirs would not be an easy ride.</p>
<p>This independent film was shot in under 14 days using the REDone Camera with a full and loyal crew going 18 &#8211; 20 hours on some days.</p>

As a bonus, we upgraded and animated the Trial Pad logo, and provided professional voice over to give the project that additional punch.</p>
